Personal Portraits and Narrative Still Lifes

In the course ART 344 Representational Painting, we explored different approaches to painting objects and portraits. This exhibition focuses on our final two paintings: narrative still lifes featuring objects that express a story, and reflective self-portraits containing elements that are important to the artist. This collection of paintings features some of our course work in which we were challenged to articulate personal and meaningful narratives through acrylic and/or oil painting.
