CARFAC SASK is excited to launch a pilot project that supports student members by offering them the opportunity to exhibit with a partner gallery and receive exhibition fees in line with CARFAC-RAAV minimum rates. The first partner for this initiative is The Fifth Parallel Gallery at the University of Regina.

Student members of CARFAC SASK were invited to apply for consideration in a group exhibition. This pilot responds to a growing need for exhibition opportunities for emerging student artists in Saskatchewan. It aims to support the professional development of these artists while encouraging fair compensation practices early in their careers.

LANDSCAPING present the work of emerging artists William Bessai-Saul, Debbie Hopper, and Maya Humphries. The exhibition will be on view from June 9 to June 27 at The Fifth Parallel Gallery. A reception will be held on Tuesday, June 17 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM.

As this project is still in its early stages, feedback from participating artists and the wider community will help guide its future development. We look forward to growing this initiative in the future and partnering with more galleries across the province.
