Home has many meanings. It can be a place or a time. A memory or a story. A feeling or an action.

Each of these artists have shared fragments of their homes. These images tell stories of family and culture. They tell the histories of lands near and far. They remind us of our connections and responsibilities.

For all it represents, home is not immutable, but an ever-changing idea, crafted by each of us, and defined by our actions.

Working with the Fifth Parallel Gallery, these artists, connected through the University of Regina’s visual arts department, are proud to share their visions of what home is, was, or might be.
